Alittle about the staff
We are best friends who came together because we share a passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. I (Sarah) first found an interest in taxidermy after buying a coyote hide and thinking “I can do that”. So I researched and self taught myself how to tan hides and make rugs. So I began tanning my own hides as well as hides for friends and family. After tanning hides for a number of years, I was asked to do a full mount. I decided to take the plunge and go to school. I graduated from The Missouri School of Taxidermy in the spring of 2013. And opened up shop with my best friend, Billyjo Benson. I taught him the skills needed for tanning and he brought a creative perspective to the shop. Together we create works of art that will be cherished for a lifetime. We got into the taxidermy business because we love the art and the challenge of bringing to life our customers trophies.
